btw gaiz, thanks for all the favourites.   Full view might be pretty. A picture of Roger from the movie or musical (or both. @_@;; ) of Rent. This was done for a contest - I have never seen the show. I'm not entirely happy with this, but there are different things I tried here that I think was a little interesting to do. I discovered that GIMP had a 'fade-away' type option with the paintbrush, and had fun. Not that you can tell. xD Drawing a person from a poster then into whatever style you might call this was hard -- I have nooo idea if this should be counted as a portrait or not. This is all kinds of weird for me. Be nice? No, I do not claim to own Roger. I do, however, own this pic - no touchie! )< Enjoy? |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Law & Order used to be fun to watch, and then my dad got into the whole criminology thing and started watching it every night at 5, and it got reeeally boring. DX I mostly like the hunting-down of the criminals, more so than the court scenes, anyway. CSI (and Numb3rs, if I could ever catch it) is better for me.
